MICRO CREDIT
Our NGO also runs a Micro credit program. This activity was created so small businesses can go through the economic crisis. It is supported by Emmaus international.

The beneficiaries are groups and individuals, and 90% of them are women, selected according to criteria FHF defined :
​
- these women are widows
- single women
- destitute
- poor
​
Most of them have alreadya small enterprise. They need help because of the economic crisis. Sometimes it is in order to pay for school fees, etc.
The first goal of such a program is to empower the people who suffered from the Tsunami in various aspects, by helping them improve their livelihood skills and by helping them satisfy their needs.
The training programs on sea shell art crafting, repairing fishnets, preparing mud blocks etc. can help them make the most of their skills.
